A second Cabinet under Japan’s Prime Minister, Ishiba Shigeru, was officially inaugurated today.

It is our hope that the new Cabinet will decisively tackle various pressing issues Japan faces at present such as responding to the turbulent international situation and implementing measures, including the adoption of a supplementary budget, to promote economic growth.

Meanwhile, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association will continue to contribute to the development of the Japanese economy by proactively working towards the achievement of carbon neutrality and the transition to the new mobility of the future with partners across industries.
