The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) has examined Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s announcement today of his newly formed cabinet and has concluded that, by placing able persons in the right posts, this reshuffling should facilitate the pursuit of the reforms advocated by the Abe government from the outset.
Bold leadership is now required of Prime Minister Abe in order for his administration to advance under stable and enlightened management. JAMA looks forward to Abe’s success in mobilizing the abilities of this new cabinet in a comprehensive push to achieve further growth for the Japanese economy; develop solutions for the national pension issue; implement sweeping reforms in the tax system; and make other necessary progress in regard to social and economic welfare in Japan.
