Inauguration of the New Cabinet of Naoto Kan

JAMA welcomes the inauguration of the cabinet of Japan’s newly-named Prime Minister Naoto Kan. First and foremost, we look forward to effective governance that will earn solid trust and confidence both at home and abroad. We also have high hopes that the new administration will work to develop a productive partnership between the public and private sectors, rooted in clear-cut growth strategies that target the recovery of the Japanese economy and economic stability for the Japanese people and are premised on the swift implementation of bold measures to address the many issues facing Japan today.
