Planning of Special Events in Full Gear for the 41st Tokyo Motor Show 2009
The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (JAMA, Chairman: Satoshi Aoki) is pleased to announce the outline of special events and visitor services for the 41st Tokyo Motor Show 2009 scheduled to be held at Makuhari Messe, Chiba City for a 13-day period from Friday, October 23 to Wednesday, November 4 (public viewing begins Saturday, October 24).
The theme for the 41st Tokyo Motor Show 2009, "Fun Driving for Us, Eco Driving for Earth," is a simple expression of the “Fun & Eco” concept. By serving as one of the world’s primary sources of information about the latest state-of-the-art technologies and products, as well as a venue for special events, the show will seek to instill greater appreciation for automobiles and motorcycles among the general public.
Exhibits are planned by 2 governments, 1 organization and 107 companies from 10 countries and 1 region. The show is scheduled to see 42 World Premieres (22 passenger cars, 18 motorcycles, 2 Carrozzeria) and 17 Japan Premieres (10 passenger cars, 7 motorcycles). The venue will consist of the West, Center and East halls (54,000 sq m) of Makuhari Messe, with total exhibition space of 21,337 sqm.
