The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (Chairman: Toshiyuki Shiga) has finalized a series of joint initiatives with the Rinkai Fukutoshin Machizukuri (Tokyo Waterfront Community Development) (Chairman: Hisashi Hieda) Council to attract visitors and generate excitement for the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show as below.
We anticipate synergistic effects with this collaboration, such as stimulating the Tokyo waterfront area surrounding Tokyo Big Sight, which is the Tokyo Motor Show venue, and improving services for show visitors.

Kids’ workshop at Panasonic Center
On Saturdays and Sundays during the Tokyo Motor Show, a children’s program will be conducted at Panasonic Center Tokyo as part of the organizer theme project “SMART MOBILITY CITY 2011 (project about next-generation automobiles and the social systems with which they interact).” This will consist of a hybrid car workshop, with details to be announced this fall on the Tokyo Motor Show official website.

Implementation of Stamp-Rally and more
Original stamps will be placed in front of stores/restaurants and facilities that are members of the Machizukuri Council. When a designated number of stamps are collected, visitors can receive a commemorative gift at the Tokyo Motor Show venue.

Discount coupons that can be used at neighboring commercial facilities and restaurants will be printed in the “Tokyo Motor Show News,” a daily information publication that provides exciting information about the Tokyo Motor Show and venue guide.
