The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (Chairman: Masanori KATAYAMA) is pleased to announce the launch of exhibitor applications for JAPAN MOBILITY SHOW 2024, to be held from October 15 through October 18, 2024 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture.

Last year saw the transformation of the 70-year-old Tokyo Motor Show into the Japan Mobility Show, a co-creation platform bringing together companies across industries to imagine diverse visions for the future. In 2024 and beyond, the Japan Mobility Show will move this initiative forward by holding business events to promote co-creation between existing mobility-related companies and startups.

Exhibitor Applications (free of charge)

Startups looking to provide solutions to issues facing the mobility industry and established companies looking to innovate together with startups are encouraged to apply to exhibit.

• Startups
  Approximately 150 startups are invited to apply to exhibit/participate focusing on any of the four themes outlined below.
• Established Companies
  Approximately 50 established companies in the mobility, social infrastructure-supporting electronics, IT, communications, heavy manufacturing and construction industries looking to co-create with startups are invited to apply. Compatibility with startup strengths being key, companies should tailor their exhibits to focus on the specific challenges and/or needs they face regarding product or service development.

Japan Mobility Show: A New, Double Profile

Going forward, the Japan Mobility Show will span a two-year period to form a more complete edition of the show. More specifically, the first year will serve as a “process year” that will focus on the forging of business collaborations bringing new partners together in business events to create the future. The second year will be a “show year” showcasing the latest in mobility-related advances, which will provide visitors with opportunities to discover a future they will surely be eager to navigate.

Japan Mobility Show 2024 will be a process year featuring business-centric events and Japan Mobility Show 2025 will be a show year, as described above.
