By engine capacity, Class 1 motor-driven cycles, accounting for 49.9% of all motorcycles in use, dropped 4.7% to 5.35 million units in 2018, whereas small-sized motorcycles, Class 2 motor-driven cycles, and mini-sized motorcycles in use rose 1.0%, 0.8%, and 0.3%, to 1.66 million, 1.75 million, and 1.97 million units respectively.
